Texts: What kind of fundraising? Grassroots? Major gift? Annual support? Events? Grants?
The Wiley series is pretty good. An Amazon search is a decent indicator of what sells. Generally, the more recognizable (bigger) the publisher, the better the quality. Seeing a series of texts helps. Of course there's (pricey) BoardSource texts & pamphlets for board f-r. There are a number of slimmer texts written about grantsmanship by independent individuals and nearly or actually self published. They tend to be lite. No one knows or describes grassroots fundraising better than Kim Klein (now retired).
I would call The Foundation Center in NYC or DC and ask for some recommendations from their librarian/library. Don't overlook your nearest university: they may have some on the shelves.
