I'm a new member on a board of 10. actually, all 10 of us are "interim" members because there was a mass exodus in November of 08. Our annual meetin in in April which is when the general membership will be voted into an actual seat on the board. My question is whether or not it's allowable for interim board members to make changes to the bylaws. A group of interim members sat on a bylaw revision committee and came up with a list of revisions and our president is trying to put the amendments into place prior to our annual meeting. Many of the new board members aren't in agreement with some of the changes. Basically we are trying to stall but the interim pres. is pushing the matter. Any thoughts?
