Carol: Wyoming might prove interesting in terms of local IRS offices, but I would suggest you locate your nearest one (or potentially a CPA who specializes in non-profit accounting). When you visit the IRS offices, ask to make a copy of the page where your organization is listed. Once you have that copy (as clear as you can get it!) scan it to a PDF file and save it for future use. I have never encountered that request from a foundation, yet it seems fairly straight forward if you can locate the publication. Another location might be through a non-profit resource center at a library (Typically a University). You might have to travel to your state capital or a larger city for that one...Casper or Cheyenne might be your best bet.
