| Re: Donations are not for People

From the community of foster children I grew up in, we'd agree that your home Julie is quite the exception rather than the rule. But we could debate this all day which is not the point. The point I was trying to make to Linda is that she is addressing the symptoms rather than the trying to find a cure. I am not discounting Linda’s advice and I'm certainly not trying to offend anyone. I want to learn from you and hopefully you can learn something from me. I must disagree with Rick regarding courage. Sharing the extremely private parts of my life with the world and opening myself up to judgement takes great courage. Every post on my blog is extremely painful. I understand that you don't view my efforts as honourable because the appeal for help is on my own behalf and based on this you make assumptions about my lack of caring for others. But if you put those prejudices aside and read my blog, what do you see? What I hope you see is someone who needs your help and has turned to this unorthodox approach since all other efforts have failed.
