I've heard it said that "donations are for organizations...not for people". I was shocked since my thinking was that the final recipient of most donations are indeed people.
I embarked on a crusade....started a blog at http://overthestairsbelow.blogspot.com/ and did all I think is humanly (or electronically) possible to publicize it. Over the last month, I received about 30 visitors. Out of those, only 3 left comments. NONE of these comments related to the fact that this is a [unorthodox] appeal for money.
So, I need your advice on how to reach my goal. From the threads I've read, members here are the authority on all that is charitable.
