| so what is your plan to compensate?

I am interested in hearing what your organization plans in order to compensate for decline in traditional paths of funding...
Is this something you are discussing with your board, and what are some thoughts?
I know the two org.'s I serve as a board member have been in early "brainstorming" to stop the gap, and also looking at cutting back program dollars, which we are loath to do! Cutting employees right now just signals further economic decline, whereas some of our program dollars were being spent on ways to 'ease the load" of individuals, if you would. Everyone can implement cost saving factors...but only to certain degrees, and only for so long.
