Thanks so much! It had never crossed my mind about the "company" implication!
You also answered another question I have had on my mind quite a bit. How long after you receive a positive response from your letter of inquiry until you typically submit the full proposal? In your case it seems to have been a few months. Is that a normal time line?
I'm trying to work on the parts of the proposal which will be consistent from funder to funder in effort to help the response time.
