Cadet, You won't get any better or more thorough advice than that.
The only bit I would add is when you contact the foundation again in six months and if you have been fortunate enough to receive grants from others, you may want to say, "we are pleased to inform you that Foundation A and Foundation B found our project worthy of support and we hope that you will as well." Linda, do you agree with that or from your experience do you think it is better strategy in this case not to mention grants from others?
