| Call for Papers: AAGP Journal

CALL FOR PAPERS The Journal of the American Association of Grant Professionals (AAGP) cordially invites interested grant professionals to submit papers for inclusion in the Spring 2008 issue of the Journal. This issue will consist of papers on general topics regarding the improvement of the grants professional and the profession. The AAGP Journal (published semi-annually) provides a forum for scholarly examination of the profession, discussions of best practices, and case studies of experiences. Research papers are peer-reviewed by top professionals from around the country. The AAGP Journal accepts proposal abstracts on a rolling basis and encourages applications on any topics related to the field. However, professionals interested in being published in the Spring 2008 issue should submit a manuscript proposal abstract no later than February 1, 2008. Invitations to prepare full manuscripts will be issued by February 15, 2008. Completed manuscripts (3 to 6 single-spaced pages) or letters to the editor regarding papers in previous issues of the Journal will be accepted no later than April 1, 2008. Submission Contact Those interested in publishing a paper in the Journal should submit: author(s) information (name, title, organization, e-mail address), title of the proposed paper, and manuscript proposal abstract of 100-300 words by February 1st to: journal@grantprofessionals.org The AAGP builds and supports an international community of grant professionals committed to serving the greater public good by practicing the highest ethical and professional standards. The AAGP serves as a resource for the practice of grantsmanship in all sectors of the field; advances the field by promoting professional growth and development; enhances the public image and recognition of the profession within the greater philanthropic, public, and private funding communities; and promotes positive relationships between grant professionals and their stakeholders.
