I have no experience at all with fundraising or grants, but I have a good friend from the island of Dominica who lives here in the US. He came to the US for an education and went all the way through a master's degree. His wish now is to raise enough money to build a community center back in his home country (the entire country only has a population of around 65,000), complete with a new computer lab. He guesstimates the total cost will be in the neighborhood of $1 million. Could anyone out there offer me some suggestions or available resources we could investigate? Thanks so much for your help.
