I'm blushing at your kind words; thank you! Rick commented that he's known very few financially successful entrepreneurial grant proposal writers. I had to giggle at that, coming up so close to end-of-the-year tax time and knowing how much money I made this year (LOTS!). My basic business model WORKS, but a big part of my success is that I understand how to market my business. You can have strong writing skills, but without strong BUSINESS skills, it can be very hard to be in business for yourself. I am entering 2008 with 24 current clients under annual agreements to do their grantwriting. Looks to be a challenging year ahead!
