Rick,
I appreciate a different perspective. I agree with yours as well as those who tell me I might want to consider focusing in a smaller way. I really enjoy learning broader aspects of NPO fund raising. Not to be construed as enjoying performing those tasks. For example, I HATE to call people to ask for money. I can do it, and I can do it effectively. But I'd rather have a root canal!
The combined experiences that I have had -- beyond the grant writing -- have definitely changed/broadened my employment possibilities. It's a good thing.
I must admit that I think my downfall in my approach is that I want a well-defined/narrow position. Strangely, it is contradictory of my desire to experience new things.
This helps me immensely. I think I am figuring things out!
