Thank you so much! Yes, I also feel like this is something I am supposed to do. I was really stunned when the foundation interviewed this "fundraising professional" last month. And his proposal was for the board to go back to past donors and ask them to increase their donations. He said he would "help" with this. All of this wonderful "work" for a mere $1,000 a month. I don't think I could sleep at night using that approach.
I very much appreciate your feedback. I think it is spot on. I won't assume anything nor will I bring my resume. I'll just listen to what she has to say. And, as you suggest, I'll definitely give an "I need to think about it," response to whatever possible invitation she passes me why.
