| Grant options for dog breed rescue group

Hi
I'm a volunteer with American Brittany Rescue, we want to build a shelter in N. Illinois. I want to explore grants, I'm not having much luck finding grants for animal rescue. Does anyone have any suggestions?
*Foster homes ALWAYS needed***We always have dogs sitting in shelters, due to lack of foster homes. If you are willing to help provide a Brittany a temporary home, until adoption, please contact me! www.americanbrittanyrescue.org
