    Mark, I love painfully honest...it's my trademark too. I agree on most counts that I am the one most familiar with the content so most able to summarize in one word, BUT, throughout the book, we talk about the critical importance of knowing your audience (when seeking grants, knowing who the readers are and what their biases are). But, though I have done a study and learned that universities that are now finally offering courses in grantwriting don't have a text, I am not sure what will set this book apart for all the E.D.'s and fundraisers out there who may be deciding between it and other resources...so I thought I'd go to the source--the audience.

    Would "like a professional" scare someone off?
