| Re: Charitable Gifts from vendors of construction project

I work for a non-profit senior living organization. We currently have a second campus under construction on the far side of the metro area from our main campus. Would it be ethical to approach our construction vendors about a charitable gift to our organization prior to completetion of construction or is it better to wait until the project is completed? Most in our organizatiion believe the ask should be made now while our completion date falls around 3/07.
