Apparently she has never worked on nor had close acquaintance with someone in charge of a major fundraising event featuring a renowned artist that missed a plane or was grounded in due to security issues at the airport, had to reschedule such an event, handle potential refund protocol questions, reschedule flights, perform PR, re-write to a new fever pitch the event to the media for the following week, handle the newspapers, etc. When an event is coordinated well, many volunteers help get things together. When it falls apart due to unfortunate circumstances, the bulk of the work falls to the head fundraiser position to keep the ball rolling and not lose face. That is not only juggling balls in the air, it is doing it in the Lion's Cage while standing on your head!
