| Grant Money from Hollywood stars

I'm trying to start a non-profit which will house single parents with children. There are many facets to my nonprofit and the services I intend to provide including, job training, child care, educational scholarships. Has anyone received financial assistance from individual donors? Does anyone know how I should start the process with doing this?
