Have you identified those in a position to donate, can someone do that and make an appointment with someone who could decide to donate? Getting donations involves one on one "sales" too. Look at that as an opportunity that a company or person may eventually become a champion for your cause. I know lots of orgs rely on a percentage of responses in direct mail and cold calling, but I feel you increase your bottom line more substantially with more personal requests. That's a dollar for dollar opinion, of course. You didn't mention if you were also aware of the expenses vs results. good luck, Gwen
