All of the previous comments are relevant and I'll add a few of my own. Number 1) You seem to be looking to blame someone. Lose that attitude and open up to the opportunities that are there. Feel gratitude that you have some knowledge about availability and put the gratitude out there. Number 2) Check with your local city and county offices, HUD, welfare dept., vocational rehabilitation officer, etc. There are plenty of social services agencies with lists to get you started. Number 3) Access the internet at the local library or Dept. of Labor and Commerce office if you don't have one personally. Speak with city officials, county officials, and local realtors. 4) Local realtors can help you find low cost housing and some are associated with programs that can get you access to those very low income, low income, and moderate income loan programs.
