Your Remix sounds like a wonderful, affectionate friend! I love that she had a baby blanket to keep her warm! Funny the things we do for our babies, isn't it? They are so much more to us than just a "pet"; they are every bit as important in our lives as people.
I do believe that when our time here is done, our beloved furbabies will be waiting to greet us. The thought of that gives me peace and hope; knowing that we will see them again someday.
I'm glad you found this board; it gave me and many, many others support and comfort in our times of loss. I know that it's only words that I am giving you, but I hope that you find that sharing the burden of grief makes it a little bit lighter for you to carry, even if only for a short while.
