I love the idea of the stones and the solar light. Sometimes it is very helpful to have something that we can actually see and touch to help us in this time of grief.
You and your Shelby will find that bond eventually, when the time is right for you both. For now, take some comfort knowing that even though you may not feel the same bond, Shelby loves you with all of her little kitty heart.
