Oh my dear, I am so very sorry.
I am glad that you were able to be with Ginger as she went to sleep.
And she told you it was time, as you had hoped she would. I know those decisions are so very difficult, but she is at peace now. Someday, there will be comfort in knowing that you set her free when the time was right.
And I have every faith that she has been reunited with her buddies who went on before she did...and they are together again. They are happy, and well, and are watching over you.
