Like Laurien and William, I am sorry to hear the meds aren't taking effect as quickly as you'd like them to. I also agree that if your vet said it might take some time, you should wait and see if Ginger improves in a few days. But like William, I also had that moment when I "knew" it was time to let my boy Rocky go. I had that heart to heart talk with him, telling him that although it would break my heart to lose him, I just needed him to tell me he was ready and I would do what was best for him. Ginger will give you a sign when she is ready. Until then, you need to cherish the time you have with her. Like Laurien said, soak up these days you have with her and hold onto those memories. I'm glad you had a nice day yesterday with her, it sounds like a very peaceful and loving day of relaxation on the balcony.
