Follow your Vet's advice. If they say it won't make a difference immediatly you eed to give her time. How is she? Is she content? If she dosen't seam to be in any pain or suffering, and she seams interested in life, then she want's to live and you should give it time for the meds. Jim on his last day spent most of his time just laying in his bed. When he went to the kitchen where his food bowl was, he would just look at it and walk away even when there was fresh food. It was verry clear to me that he wanted to go. Before this, I ofren wonderd how I would know, but when the time came, he "told me" just like I asked him to.
