Hello Louise,
Might I sugest that you read my post from yesterday titled "Jim cat". I have just gone through this same thing. Ginger will tell you if you ask her to, as Jim told me. Let her know that you lover her, that she is a great cat, that you will always love her. tell her that if she needs to to go to sleep and stay asleep. Give her your blessing and tell her that it is alright for her to go. Teel her that you will always love her and that there is nothing that she can ever do to make you upset or angrey - I believe that this is important. then say to her, if she needs you to do any thing, or needs your help, to let you know. And tell her she has to let you know.
I had this conversation with Jim on Monday night, and he told me Tuesday morning.
God bless you, your husband and Ginger. May he keep you, your family and home free of harm and danger, and give you the strength and courage that may only come through his wisdom.
William
