Hi Louise,
I am so sorry to hear about Ginger. I know you are struggling with the decision you might have to make and I wish there was a simple answer about what you should do. First of all, I think your vet will be able to provide you with some guidance once these blood tests come back. They should be able to tell you what Ginger's quality of life is and what you dealing with. In the end, only you and your husband will be able to make that decision though. I am sure that Ginger is comforted knowing you are there with her and she knows that her mom and dad will do what they can to take care of her. It is evident that you love your sweet Ginger very much. Please keep us posted on Ginger's condition and know that we are here if you need us. Many of us have been in that difficult position where we had to make that heartbreaking decision so we know what you are going through. Give Ginger extra kisses from us and know that I'll be thinking of you guys today.
