3 years have passed since you left us quietly in your sleep.
You are thought of often, and forever loved and missed.
Chaussette is doing well...she'll be 17 in February. She is starting to show her age,and sometimes looks a little frail to me, but all in all, she is well. Diva continues to amuse us with her antics...it's the Border Collie in her, I think!
You wouldn't believe how your boy has grown! He is a teenager now, and stands at almost 5'10 inches tall! He and I enjoy sharing the memories we have of you. (Remember biting him when he was little? He thought for his entire 3rd year of life that kittys only said "HISSSSSS", instead of "MEOW"!)
We have moved now, and are living with Nana and Grandpa. You have a very special place here, on top of Great-Nana's china cabinet. A place of honour, to be sure. You were the most important part of our move, and I carried you on my lap to bring you here. (Wasn't trusting the movers with you, my precious boy!) Your Dad agreed that you should be hand delivered...maybe because he didn't want to see what would have happened if a mover had been careless!
I have your memory frame hanging on the wall right beside our bed, so you are the last thing I see at night, and the first thing I see in the morning. It's a good feeling, and I can always start my day with a smile now.
We miss you, more than words can say. There is a hole in our lives that can never be filled.
We love you, we miss you.
