Wow, what a beautiful post. I am so glad I got to talk to you on the phone the other day. I hope you are doing ok. I know Roxy is up there looking out for you and Bill. She is definitely with Smokey and although Rocky wasn't a big cat lover, I can promise you that he would have been a kind boy and greeted dear Roxanna at the Bridge. I know you are still in shock over this whole situation, and that is perfectly normal. Just remember that you did what you needed to do by keeping Roxy's best interests in mind. There is never enough time for us to share with our furbabies, that's the worst part about loving these dear little angels. All we can do is remember that we are better people for having known unconditional love like that and to cherish the memories of the times we have shared.
Please know that I am always here if you need to talk... I am thinking about you and Bill and hoping that the message board has been able to bring you comfort in the same way that you have made it possible for so many others to benefit from such a great resource.
