I'm glad you can see how lucky you and Jenna were to be together, even at the very end. I remember that when I knew my boy Rocky's time was nearing, I was terrified of leaving him alone because I was so scared that something would happen and he wouldn't have his "Mamma" with him. I guess although it is so sad that Jenna got sick so suddenly, you could also look at it as a blessing that she didn't suffer for an extended period of time. I know it's hard to see the positive at this point, but it will get easier. I promise.
Also, just a footnote to what you and Laurien were talking about in regards to posting pictures of Jenna, I know that when I lost Rocky and posted on this board, I was told about this great website called Dogster.com where you can make a little profile about your pet and pay tribute to them. There is also a Catster.com. And then you can just post the link here for us all to go and see. We would love to see your precious Jenna!
I hope things have gotten a little easier over the last few days... I'm sorry to hear about how hard the nights have been. Whatever helps you heal is important for you to do. And don't feel like you have to feel better in a certain amount of time. Grieving is different for everyone, take all the time you need.
