Hi Patty,
I am so very sorry to hear about Luke. I completely relate to what you said about having so many more things you wanted to do with him and before you know it, they've grown up so quickly. When they are puppies you feel like you have endless amounts of time to share together and then when they're gone, it just seems like you can't remember where the time went.
My heart also goes out to Princess who is missing her buddy so much. Make sure you give her lots of extra love and the two of you will be able to help each other in the grieving process of missing Luke.
Was Luke ill beforehand or did he pass away suddenly? I bet he was a handsome boy. I've always admired how gorgeous collies are. They look so regal and majestic.
Please know that I am thinking about you and Princess at this difficult time and if you ever want to talk and share stories of your memories of Luke, we would love to hear them! We are here if you need us Patty. We've all been where you are and we know how much your heart is breaking without your dear friend around.
