Nice to hear from you. I've been wondering how you were holding up.
You know, for what it's worth, many of us on here have had similar experiences like you are describing. More than once, especially in the early days after Poubelle died, I heard him in the night, thought he'd jumped on the bed, saw him out of the corner of my eye...let's just say I had lots of "sightings" of him! I'm with your Mother-in-law...I do think it is their way of cummunicating with us. But, we all have our own beliefs, and we all take comfort in different things. It gave me a great sense of peace to think that he was letting me know he was ok...so that's how I viewed it. It's a personal thing, these kinds of beliefs, so you take what works for you!
