Dear Pam,
I'm so sorry that you are having to go through such a difficult time.
Your vet will be able to tell you more clearly what is going to need to happen in the days to come once those results are in. The vet will be able to tell you what kind of quality of life you looking at for you darling baby, and perhaps will have some advice on what steps need to be taken.
If you have to let her go, please know that it will be the right thing to do. You will know in your heart when the time is right. Our beloved furbabies cannot use words to tell us how they are feeling, so it is, sadly, up to us to make the decision when it is time for them to be released from whatever battle they are facing.
The love that a furbaby brings into our lives is like no other...and when we ultimately lose them, the pain and grief is very real. All of us here on this board have loved and lost beloved furbabies as well, and if we can help in any way, please let us know. We are all here for each other.
I'll be thinking of you, while you wait to hear your news. Keep us posted.
Hugs,
Laurien
