It has been two years to the day since I lost Ebony. I think about her always, and miss her everyday. Finding my way without her has been a challenge.
Most days, I can focus on her long life with joy, and not focus losing her. She was a wonderful companion, goofy, loyal, happy, smart, obstinate, and cuddlebug.
One day when the time is right, I hope to be able to welcome another into my life.
