Hi Mary-Anne,
I am so sorry to hear about your dear girl Chelsea. That was a beautiful tribute that you wrote to her and it brought tears to my eyes reading it, because it was so clear how much you loved her and how badly you are hurting. I know you are deeply missing your angel but I truly believe that our beloved furbabies never really leave us completely. Chelsea is still around you and your family, watching over the people who loved her so dearly in life and miss her terribly now that she is gone. It sounds like your little girl did not have an easy life and I am so sorry you lost her. While it may not seem like it now, the extreme pain you are feeling will begin to ease in time and you will be able to look back on those 11 wonderful years with a smile instead of just tears. I hope you can take comfort in all the great memories you have of your sweet girl and I hope that you continue to take your morning and evening walks as you and Chelsea did. Chelsea would want you to do that and I'm sure she will be close by during those times. I know Chelsea is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge and she is being welcomed to a life free from illness by all of our babies who have gone before her.
We would love to hear more about your Chelsea if you ever feel like sharing. We are always here if you want to talk.
Thinking of you and your family...
Stephanie
