I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your beloved Scully.
I'm sorry I didn't get to you right away, but just saw your post now.
I am glad that you were able to spend some loving time with her before letting her go. It doesn't feel like it now, but the memories of the time you shared will bring you comfort in the difficult days to come.
The decision to let a beloved friend go is never, ever an easy one to make, but I hope you can find peace in knowing that it is such a brave thing to do, and that Scully is grateful that you were strong enough to let her go when it was time.
