I just wanted to say that I had to put my best friend to sleep on March 7th, 2009. It's been 16 days now, and I still have not stopped crying.
She was 11 years old and a big 108lb sweetheart, I knew I was doing the right thing for her, but no matter how many times you have to make this decision it never gets easier. My heart is broken in two and I don't know if I will ever be the same. I thought I heard her cry this morning to be let out the backyard...but it was just wishful thinking...I hope she is happy and free of pain. Love you for all eternity Drucilla! Hopefully we will meet again. Love Mommy
