Dear Brenda
I was just reading about the loss of your precious boy Harley, I have just lost both of my boys too. General was a 9 year old boxer in 2007 he started having seizures. He passed away March 5th. We also had an 8 year old boxer Spyke he also had (boxercardiomyopathy) he had it for almost 4 years and was doing great (they had him on human heart meds) we found out a month before all this happen he had a tumor in him tummy, they could not do any operation on him because of his heart. The sad thing we had to let him go 5 days after General ( we lost both of my awsome boys 5 days apart) I feel your pain 
We are coming up to one year and I still cry for them. I could not take not having my boys with me that my husband and I got two new boxers (girls) I hope that one day you will be able to get a new dog.
