I completely understand what you were feeling when you saw that story on the news today. I saw that just before I left for school today and could not stop thinking throughout the day about all those poor babies who could not be saved . It has always broken my heart to imagine all of those sweet kitties at the Humane Society waiting for a forever home but now that they are gone, it is extra sad to think about the immense sense of loss. I can't imagine how those people who work and volunteer there are feeling when they have lost so many precious angels.
It hurts so bad to think about how scared all those animanls were when the fire broke out and they had no way to escape. They were all alone and it must have been terrifying.
The only comfort I can take from this situation is knowing that we all have our own sweet furbabies at the Rainbow Bridge who would have been waiting for all those kitties and welcoming them home.
My heart goes out to all those directly affected by this tragedy and as I write this, I am still crying.
Thanks for posting about this. It's nice to be able to remember all of those angels that were lost much too soon.
