The Rainbow Bridge has been very busy in the last few hours with the tragic loss of so many animals in a fire at the Oshawa Humane Society.
My heart breaks for the staff who are suffering such a huge loss, and I have shed many tears today for all the furbabies who were waiting for homes, who will never get the chance now.
They were loved by those that cared for them, which was clearly shown today on CP24 in an interview with one of the staff members there. Her first name was Ruby, but I didn't catch her last name. She was so obviously devastated by the tragedy, she broke my heart.
So, I wanted to post this in honour of all those beautiful furbabies, big and small, who have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge.
You were all loved, and are grieved for by many.
My condolences to all of those directly impacted by this tragedy.
And many, many get well wishes to those poor little ones who are under veterinary care at this time, in hopes that they recover soon.
