I am sorry for your loss. I am glad that you found this board, though. You and Dianne are going through such similar situations right now, and I hope you are able to find some comfort in one another.
Sometimes just knowing we are not alone in our grief can be a big help.
Dusty is at peace now. And he knows that you made the decision to let him go out of your love for him. And you know what? You did see peace on his face as he left you. You knew him best of all, and if that's what you're thinking you saw...then it was!
These decisions are never, ever easy. But Dusty trusted you to do what was right for him, and that was letting him go.
If you need us, we are here. All of us here have lost beloved furbabies, and we really, really do understand the grief that you feel.
