Dear Dianne,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Blue.
Please try not to feel guilty...you did the bravest, most loving thing for your baby-you let her go when it was time. It sounds as though she was letting you know that her time had come, and I don't believe for a minute that she would be angry, and if you are feeling that she may have been a bit depressed, perhaps that was simply her way of letting you know that her quality of life just wasn't where it used to be.
I know making that type of decision is heart-breaking, but please know that it was the right thing to do. Blue trusted you all her life to look after her, to love her, to be her friend. And that's exactly what you have done for her, all the way to the end. You did what was best, what was the most loving thing to do.
And while that won't help the grief you are feeling right now, try to remember that Blue is in a better place now, free of pain.
And I'll bet she's purring, too!
