Laurien, Terry and Stephanie - Thank you. It seems like yesterday that I sent my first post. But it has been almost 4 and half months. Tequila is a constant in my life. We miss her terribly and I still ache. Yesterday, we took out some Christmas albums and there is a Louis Armstrong song "Is that You Santa Claus". We used to sing that one and Tequila would run to the door and bark. Christmas will not be the same this year without her, and Cassie and Coby.
But we are busy and happy with training our two new little furballs. Corona has a 2 year old long hair female chihuahua (Maya) and a 3 month old long hair female chihuahua (Maggie). We are busy and enjoying the antics of our babies and teaching them to be polite and happy.
There are still times that I will be driving home and a wave of despair comes over me. There are days when Kila is a constant on my mind and everyone knows that I am having a bad day. We are able to talk and remember and enjoy the memories that we had with her.
Thank you so much for your kindness at the time I was at my worst. I am hoping that one day I can make it to the Monthly meeting.
