Hi Catherine,
I am so sorry for your loss of Sammy. It has been about 8 months since I lost my sweet dog and already I find myself noticing things that he will never be here to enjoy again. My birthday was one, thanksgiving, the warm summer, playing in the autumn leaves. I know this first Christmas will be extra hard as well. The important thing is that you are giving love to those two other babies in your life now as well as remembering Sammy. Sammy would definitely be happy to see his mom doing so well.
