Hi Denise,
I so sorry on your loss of Simcoe. Even though everyone tells you that time will help to ease the pain, I don't think it every really makes the pain disappear. But I think that just shows the impact that our furry friends have on our lives. If we are still deeply affected by their loss months and years afterwards it is a testament to how lucky we were to have them in our lives to begin with.
I am thinking about you and your sweet Simcoe and I think the memorial bench in your backyard sounds like a great idea. Just like Laurien said, Simcoe is watching over you and knows how much you still love and think about him.
