Dear Denise,
I'm sending you a hug on what I know must be a very difficult day for you.
I remember posting to you a couple of times when you first lost Simcoe, and have thought of you over the months since.
Anniversaries do have a way of making the pain feel brand new again.
I know your Simcoe is watching over you. He knows this is a difficult day for you...but remember, he also knows that he is never far from your thoughts, is missed, and most importantly of all, that he is as loved now as he was in life.
If you feel up to it, we'd love to hear some of your favourite memories of Simcoe.
One of my favourite quotes goes something like this: "as long as one person remembers, then we are never truly gone". So we too are remembering Simcoe today.
