Thank you for saying a prayer for Cobra. I will add Tasha to the other pets I have lost and the animals I have come to know through this site.It sounds like she had an amazing,fun-filled live in the time she lived with you.
It was hard for me at work for a while as well. I would start to cry for no reason and I am sure my co-workers were just wishing I would get over it.It was hard with my husband as well-I cried and he held the pain inside.
I found this site helped a lot. I read what other people were going through and learned my feelings weren't that different.
There are books listed on the website. I never read any but expect they could be helpful. If you haven't already, look at the Rainbow Bridge tribute.I cried a lot over that!I had never heard of the idea of a Rainbow Bridge-sure would be nice if it is true.At the end of the tribute is a poem about finding a penny. Since I read that I have found pennies in the strangest places and it makes me smile that perhaps they were sent by Cobra and my other lost pets. I think in time you will also find little things to help cope with the loss.
