Posted by Melanie She had only been diagnosed with colon cncer two days before-I thought she was having leg trouble because she didnt want to walk for than 10 minutes -VERY unusual for her. Only a few weeks before, she was running and bouncing like a puppy. This dog & I had an incredibly close bond with each other-she really was my best friend. It is hard because people expect you to be over it and fine within a few days-they would never expect that if you lost a human!! I probably loved her more than most humans!
