Hi Jenny: it was definitely confirmed yesterday that buddy has OS and there i go crying again. we have decided not to amputate his leg. there are a lot of pros and cons, but we feel we are doing the best thing for buddy. he has never known a truly bad day and he still wants to walk and run and is happy at this time. a goldens normal lifespan seems to be anywhere from 8-10 years and some live to 12 or more years. you really had a terrible time losing 3 so suddenly and i commend you for your decisions. i don't know when this will all happen, but know somehow buddy will let us know. in the meantime we just take a day at a time. thanks so much for your kind thoughts. will post more as time goes by.
