on oct. 3 i put my 18 year old siamese cat to sleep and although i knew his time was coming to an end it was devestating. on oct. 10, exactly one week later i took my 9 year old golden retriever in as he was limping after chasing balls in the backyard. we are awaiting the biopsy results and they are 99% sure he has osteosarcoma which is terminal. i can't sleep and cry constantly. he looks so healthy and has always been so active. it's hard to fathom that he won't be with us too much longer. we have decided not to amputate his leg and just keep him on meds till we feel his time has come. anything we do will only buy him a few more months. i hope we are doing the right thing, but can't imagine our lives without our dear buddy.
